FOLLOW-UP: Beckles Sentenced to Probation, Community Service After Threatening to Kill Co-Workers
After pleading guilty to mailing a letter that contained a threat to kill and injure several employees, Peter Winston Beckles is sentenced Thursday.

After Richfield resident , he has now been sentenced to four years probation and 150 hours of community service, according to a U.S. Department of Justice press release.
, Beckles admitted to mailing a letter that contained a threat to kill and injure several employees of the Embassy Suites Hotel in Bloomington, where he also worked. The letter was sent to the hotel's parent company, Hilton Hotels, in Memphis.
In addition to the probation and community service he received Thursday, Beckles was also ordered to pay $8,103.72 in restitution.
