Former Richfield Basketball Players Receive Collegiate All-Conference Honors
Jared Noonan and Shawn Bear are both freshman players at Minnesota institutions.
Two former Richfield High School boys basketball players found success in their first collegiate seasons.
Jared Noonan and Shawn Bear, both 2012 graduates, were recently named to various Minnesota College Athletic Conference teams.
Noonan, a freshman at St. Cloud Technical and Community College, was named to the southern-division team. He averaged 18.8 points per game, leading his team in scoring. Noonan also averaged 6.8 rebounds per game in conference play, according to the school's website.

Bear, a freshman at Vermilion College in Ely, MN, was named to the northern-division team, was well as the MCAC all-conference team. He averaged 15.3 points per game.
