Former Starbucks Exec Joins Best Buy Team

Best Buy announced Stephen Gillett, a former Starbucks executive, will join the company's team as vice president and president of the Digital and Global Business Services division, a newly created position.

According to a company press release, Gillett, 36, is tasked with accelerating the transformation and growth of Best Buy through the advancement of the company's global digital strategy, digital marketing, entertainment offerings, multi-channel capabilities and business development.

Gillett is the former executive vice president of Digital Ventures and chief information officer at Starbucks. He will begin his role at Best Buy March 14.
