Fugitive's Richfield Father Thankful Son Was Caught without Incident: Star Tribune
A peaceful resolution to the escape of Michael Krzyzaniak and Gerald Greenfield was 'one of our main concerns,' Joseph Krzyzaniak told the newspaper.

A Richfield resident told the Star Tribune he is relieved authorities captured his son, a prison escapee, without incident.
Two men convicted of real estate fraud were found in Burnsville after going AWOL from a federal prison in Duluth.
Michael Krzyzaniak, 64, and Gerald Greenfield, 67, were arrested at the Hampton Inn by Hilton, just off of Interstate 35W. The two went missing from FPC Duluth on March 30. They were caught early Friday, according to a report in the Star Tribune:

Joseph Krzyzaniak said Friday that he’s “absolutely, absolutely” relieved that his son was found and arrested without being harmed.
“That was one of our main concerns,” said the father, whose Richfield home is about 10 miles north of the hotel.

Joseph Krzyzaniak said he had no contact with his son during his time as fugitive.
