Highway 169 Southbound To Close For Paving

TWIN CITIES, MN — A stretch of southbound Highway 169 will close this weekend while crews pave the highway. Southbound Highway 169 will be closed between Highway 7 and Highway 55 starting at 7 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.

The detour will be Highway 55 west to Interstate 494 south. This is part of a resurfacing and improvement project on Highway 169 from Highway 62 in Edina to Highway 55 in Golden Valley.

Northbound Highway 169 will remain open to one lane from I-394 to Seventh Street and Lincoln Drive, according to a news release. Paving on northbound Highway 169 was done June 23-26.
