Holy Angels Football Rolls New Prague, 49-20
The Stars are 2-0 heading into their home opener against Red Wing next week

The football team routed New Prague on the road Friday during a Missota Conference matchup, topping the Trojans 49-20.
The Stars picked up two rushing touchdowns and a passing touchdown from Sam Keis. Keis scored on a 28-yard run to open all scoring in the first quarter, then ran for a 4-yard score at the end of the first quarter. He also connected with Will Pagel for an 18-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter.
Pagel also had rushing touchdowns of 16 yards, 13 yards and 7 yards in the contest, with two of those rushing scores coming in the fourth quarter.

The Stars (2-0, 1-0 Missota Conference) scored 19 points in the first quarter, six points each in the second and third quarters and 18 more points in the fourth to rout the Trojans. Holy Angels opened up the season with a 28-0 road win over Chisago Lakes Area.
Meanwhile, the Trojans (0-2, 0-1) are struggling defensively. New Prague lost 60-14 in the season opener to Mankato West, and the Trojans have been outscored 109-34 in their first two games of the season.

Holy Angels’ next game is at home against Red Wing. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 16.
