Police are investigating the incident as a hit-and-run.

EDINA, MN — Police say a girl who attends Edina High School was struck by a car in an apparent hit-and-run while getting onto a school bus Thursday morning. The incident occurred around 8:10 a.m.
The bus was stopped in the southbound lane of France Avenue at Halifax Avenue, when the car went to the right of the bus, according to authorities.
The school bus arm was out and lights were activated at the time of the crash, police said.

The student was transported to Fairview Southdale Hospital, reports KARE 11.
