Lake Wobegon® Brass Band to perform holiday concert benefit
Event proceeds go to Families Moving Forward
The public is invited to join an annual holiday tradition – an evening of majestic holiday music concert performed as a benefit for a program serving families experiencing homelessness.
The Lake Wobegon® Brass Band will perform Friday, Dec. 6, at 7:30 pm at Colonial Church of Edina. There is no cost to attend the concert and refreshments will be served. A free will offering will be taken for Families Moving Forward, an emergency shelter program for homeless families operating 365 days a year at hosting congregations that open their doors, including Colonial Church. The program serves 8 families at a time, or about 65 families a year. Families Moving Forward is a program of Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative.
