MSB Richfield 'Walks Like MADD' for George

Minnesota School of Business staff, faculty and friends participate in the "Walk Like MADD" 5K Saturday in honor of a student killed by a drunk driver in March 2011.

More than 20 (MSB) Richfield staff, faculty and friends participated in the "Walk Like MADD" (Mother's Against Drunk Driving) 5K national fundraising walk June 11.

The team walked in memory of George Kaffey, a student who was killed by a drunk driver, as team "Justice for George," according to Kate Ryan, MSB communications specialist.

The team raised more than $1,000 and was recognized as the "Top Academic" team for its fundraising efforts and excepted the award from Sen. Amy Klobuchar.
