• Richfield aiming to keep tax levy increase under 5% (hometownsource.com) — Richfield officials are proposing a 4.55% property tax levy increase for 2027, collecting about $33.2 million for city operations, debt, equipment, and development authorities. Residents can weigh in at a truth-in-taxation hearing on Dec. 1 before the City Council certifies the final levy, which can only be lowered from this preliminary amount. 
• Woman Charged With Felony Fleeing After Alleged 80+ MPH Pursuit on I-35W in Richfield (limitless-news.com) — Richfield police helped locate a 20-year-old woman who now faces a felony fleeing charge after an alleged high-speed incident on I-35W early Sunday. Prosecutors say she admitted driving the Audi, seeing police lights and sirens, and fleeing before officers ended the pursuit for safety. She is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
