PHOTOS: Richfield Baseball Team Beats Simley in Five Innings

Richfield and Simley squared off Monday afternoon at Simley High School in Inver Grove Heights, MN. The game got out to a quick start with both teams scoring runs in the first inning. The Spartans got the bats going in the third inning, bringing in three runs, and four runs in each of the two following innings.

Simley had some costly errors throughout the game, giving Richfield multiple opportunities in which they took advantage of. Richfield was hitting the ball well thoughtout the game.

Coach Dave Boie was very happy with the way his team was hitting, "We did a very good job of situational hitting."

The game ending in the fifth inning with Richfield winning 12-2.
