It was a rough Homecoming night for the as Hill-Murray thumped the Spartans, 49-7, on Friday evening.
The Pioneers scored early and often, taking a 21-0 lead in the first quarter and never looking back on a chilly night at Spartans Stadium.
Richfield, who lost 45-0 at St. Thomas Academy last week, avoided consecutive shutouts with a second-half touchdown, but never challenged Hill-Murray in the contest.

The Spartans fell to 1-2 with the loss, as the Pioneers improved to 3-0.
