The Student Council raised more than $2,300 for the <a href="http://www.schoolandyouth.org/school/Controller?action=loadContent&amp;itemid=91060" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Pennies for Patients</a> education program. The students selected Pennies for Patients as this year's service project and had three weeks to collect the money, according to Tricia Thompson, second grade teacher at Sheridan Hills. All the money was donated by Sheridan Hills students and collection began after a school kick-off event Feb. 25 and collection ended March 17. The school thanks for helping count all the change.
