Spartans will win if ...

They can regain their form that they showed in the season opener. The Spartans scored 27 points to win their first game, but they have been outscored 92-7 in losses to undefeated St. Thomas and Hill-Murray.

Warriors will win if ...

They have to find offensive consistency. The Warriors scored 25 points in their two-point loss to Hill-Murray, but have been shutout in their other two games.  Henry Sibley has lost eight straight games since beating Richfield in the fourth game last season

Stars will win if …

Their defense remains dominant. Holy Angels has shut out two of its three opponents so far, and as a result has not trailed in a game all year. That's going to be a tough task against a Chanhassen offense that rushed for 588 yards through three games.

Storm will win if …

The Storm have been close each of the last two weeks—they led Farmington 14-3 early last Friday, a week after taking preseason league favorite Shakopee down to the wire—and is a better team than their record indicates. If they keep doing what they're doing—running the ball successfully and playing good defense—and the wins will come.
