Richfield High School Theater Students Honored at Spotlight Showcase
Three Richfield students performed at the Hennepin Theatre's annual jamboree honoring musical theater achievements on June 6.
Richfield High School was one of 47 schools to participate in the Hennepin Theatre Trust's sold out 2011 Spotlight Showcase June 6.
Intended to recognize outstanding achievements in musical theatre, for this year's production of the musical Richfield received Honorable Mention for Overall Performance. Three Richfield students were part of the June 6 performance, participating in medleys with other schools in front of a packed crowd of parents, educators, and fellow high school theater performers.

- Joey Gamoke as "Rizzo;" Outstanding Performance in a Leading Role.
- Lindsey Melchior as "Sandy;" Honorable Mention for Performance in a Leading Role.
- Antonio Jordan as "Kenickie;" Honorable Mention for Performance in a Leading Role
- Hannah Olson as "Frenchy;" Honorable Mention for Performance in a Leading Role.
- Alex Gunderson as "Roger;" Honorable Mention for Performance in a Supporting Role.
- Paul Domingo as "Doody;" Honorable Mention for Performance in a Supporting Role.
- Tiffany Cheng as "Patty Simcox;" Honorable Mention for Performance in a Featured Role.
