Richfield Police Blotter: Beginning of Holiday Season Sees Shoplifting, Thefts

A 51-year-old Richfield woman was charged with DUI Nov. 26.

Bose headphones and two, prepaid carwash cards were reported stolen from a vehicle Nov. 26.

Police responded to a report of an attempted burglary on the 7300 block of Lyndale Avenue Nov. 26.

A resident reported that an unknown person threw a brick through his living room window Nov. 26.

A resident reported that over the past several months items have been taken from her home on the 7500 block of Bryant Avenue, including a Citizen watch, Fireking bowls and cat dishes. The report was taken Nov. 26.

A 28-year-old Fridley man and a 29-year-old Minneapolis man were charged with shoplifting after reportedly attempting to steal two iPads from Nov. 26.

Police responded to a shoplifting incident on the 6600 block of Nicollet Avenue Nov. 26.

Police responded to a domestic disturbance on the 7300 block of Cedar Avenue Nov. 26.

A woman was transported to HCMC after Police reportedly found her extremely intoxicated damaging the front door of the residence Nov. 27. She complained of having an asthma attack and was then transported to the hospital.

Police responded to three theft from a vehicle incidents Nov. 27.

A woman reported that her tires been slashed Nov. 27.

A taxi driver reported a passenger stiffed him on a $27.80 fare Nov. 28.

Police responded to after a custodian found multi-colored spray paint on the second floor of the building Nov. 28.

Richfield responded to a report of a possible rape of a 15-year-old, Latino female Nov. 28.

After conducting a routine traffic stop, the officer found the driver to be in possession of 14.1 grams of marijuana Nov. 28.

Police responded to three thefts and a burglary—all separate incidents—on Nov. 29.

A female reported that her cousin sexually assaulted her five to six years ago Nov. 29.

A man was the victim of a strong-arm robbery Nov. 30. Police reported that the victim was struck in the head, knocked to the ground and then his cell phone was taken.

A woman was taken to HCMC after Police followed up on a 911 hang-up call Nov. 30.
