Richfield Spartans Run in Hudson

The ran in Wisconsin in an invitational meet to highlight the local mid-week sports schedule that also saw the Spartans and the girls soccer squads in action.

Richfield Cross-Country

Joining teams from 10 high schools in the bordering states, the Richfield cross-country program competed in the Raider Invitational in Hudson, WI on Tuesday.

The Spartans boys finished fifth, led by 's 14th-place run of 18 minutes, 30 seconds. Also scoring for Richfield were: Max Hamilton (18:51.4) in 20th, Lucas Blanchard (18:52.2) in 21st, Jake Beaudet (18:54.4) in 23rd and Calvin Bergen (19:10.1) in 29th.

's third-place individual time of 15:46.4 led the Spartans girls to a sixth-place team finish. Following Olson were: Sarah Nygaard (17:46.9) in18th, Leah Mohn (18:23.4) in 27th, Hannah Adams (18:56.1) in 38th and Sarah Schroeder (19:42.0) in 41st.

Holy Angels Girls Soccer

Behind three goals from Kayla Mulrooney, the . Shannon McQuillan and Therese Wichmann also scored in the victory that boosted the 10th-ranked Stars to 5-2-1 on the year.

Richfield Girls Soccer

The Richfield girls soccer team fell to 1-6 overall with a 9-0 loss to visiting Mahtomedi on Tuesday. Individual statistics were not made available.

Holy Angels Boys Soccer

The Holy Angels boys soccer team improved to 4-1-3 this year with an 8-0 defeat of Red Wing on Tuesday. Eight different Stars players scored: Sam VanderAarde, Peter McGrane, Hugh Bernhagen, Ian Toledano, Tyler Warmack, Jack Miller, Shon Jordan and Lucas Ciabattoni.

Richfield Volleyball

A three-game sweep at the hands of visiting Hill-Murray on Tuesday dropped the to 5-5 on the season. Individual statistics were not made available.

The Holy Angels girls tennis team shut out Farmington, 7-0, on Tuesday. Individual statistics were not made available.
