Richfield U18 Soccer Team Remains Winless at USA Cup

The Richfield Spartans U18 boys soccer team finished up pool play at the Schwan’s USA Cup tournament at Blaine’s National Sports Center with an 0-4-0 record.

The Spartans opened up play in Group D with a 3-0 loss to Coon Rapids Rampage. Richfield then lost to Rio Select 4-0, NSSA White Knights 2-0 and the East St. Paul Aces 3-1.

Rio Select won the pool with a perfect 4-0-0 record, while NSSA White Knights came in second with a 2-1-1 mark.

Richfield’s first game in the U19 A Silver Flight playoff was against NSSA Laser Wombats and began Friday at 1 p.m.
