Richfield Wrestlers Eliminated At State

The sent two individuals to Friday’s Class AAA state meet at the Xcel Energy Center and both will be coming home empty handed.

The Spartans’ Chandler Arredondo lost his lone match to Alexandria’s Andy Bouressa by fall at 4:47 in the 189-pound class. Bouressa lost his championship quarterfinal match, effectively eliminating Arredondo from contention.

The same goes for Mike Dyer at 285 pounds. Dyer lost to Eagan’s Mitch Johnson 14-2 and was eliminated when Johnson lost his quarterfinal matchup.
