Super Bowl Weekend Brings DUI, Underage Drinking Charges in Richfield

The latest Richfield Public Safety crime reports are released Monday, detailing incidents from Feb. 3-6.

It seems as if some were starting the Super Bowl Sunday party a bit early at the end of last week and into the weekend; four juveniles were charged with underage drinking and three adults were charged with DUI, from Feb. 3-6.

All information was taken from the Arrest and Incident Reports from Feb. 7.

Police are investigating an assault that occurred on the 7500 block of Oliver Avenue on Feb. 3.

Police are investigating a theft from vehicle that occurred on the 7000 block of Harriet Avenue on Feb. 3. Auto parts, personal accessories and entertainment devices were among the items taken.

A 26-year-old Richfield woman was charged with criminal damage to property on Feb. 4.

Police are investigating a theft on the 7700 block of Portland Avenue.

Police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Feb. 4.

A 67-year-old Richfield woman was charged with shoplifting from a business on the 100 block of 66th Street West.

Four juveniles were charged with minor consumption of alcohol on Feb. 4.

A 41-year-old Minneapolis man was charged with DUI after being stopped on 74th Street West and Penn Avenue on Feb. 5.

A 33-year-old Bloomington man was charged with DUI after being stopped on 74th Street West and Lyndale Avenue on Feb. 5.

An adult was charged with driving after license revocation on Feb. 5.

A 26-year-old Bloomington man was charged with assault on Feb. 5.

A 28-year-old Richfield woman was charged with DUI after being stopped on 3rd Avenue and 66th Street East on Feb. 6.
