U.S. Bank Receives 2011 Commuters Choice Award

The company is recognized for its efforts to get people to work without adding to traffic congestion.

The Richfield U.S. Bank campus—which recently relocated its St. Paul office to Meridian Crossing—was one of seven Twin Cities organizations and four individuals to receive a 2011 Commuter Choice Award.

U.S. Bank received the Outstanding Relocation Award for its efforts to prepare its employees for the move by hosting two transportation fairs, encouraging carpooling and providing additional resources to help with the transition.

The awards were sponsored by Metro Transit and the region's Transportion Management Organizations (TMOs), which includes Minneapolis Commuter Connection, 494 Community Services, St. Paul Smart Tips and Anoka County Commute Solutions.
