The 1st Annual Ultimate Hoops Mustache Classic will pit 'stache against 'stache for an ultimate, 70s flair, clashes between 'staches basketball tournament benefitting prostate and testicular cancer research directed by the Movember Foundation.
The Hairy Details:
- All teams and skill levels welcomed, must be 18 or older to participate
- Cost is $499 per team plus an additional $20 for every non-member of Life Time Fitness on the roster. 100% of proceeds from registration will benefit prostate and testicular cancer research, directed by the Movember Foundation.
- Registration includes 8 full, official Mustache Classic uniforms (reversible jersey, shorts, headband and tube socks). Winners will receive a team trophy and a 2013 Mustache Classic Championship Banner with your team and player names on it that will hang in the Life Time Fitness Bloomington South gym for eternity.
- Mustaches are not required, but they are highly encouraged.
- Tournament is limited to 12 teams on a first to register basis. Pool play format on Saturday, single-elimination on Sunday. Tentative tourney time is 8am to 7pm on Saturday, Nov. 23 and 8 am to 2 pm on Sunday, Nov. 24.
- Fans are encouraged to come and cheer on their teams. Official Mustache Classic t-shirts will be on sale at the event for fans to purchase for $15, with 100% of proceeds going to the Movember Foundation.
