Rochester marks funding milestone for 6th Street Bridge project (kaaltv.com) — Downtown Rochester is moving closer to a new 6th Street bridge that will serve drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists while improving access to the Zumbro River. Backed by federal, state, and Destination Medical Center funding, the project aims to calm traffic, connect southeast neighborhoods to future development and transit, and create a more welcoming riverfront for residents.
   

2. Driver With DWI History Pleads Guilty in Rochester Injury Crash (krocnews.com) — A Rochester man with a long DWI history has pleaded guilty to criminal vehicular operation charges after rear-ending an SUV at Highway 14 and South Broadway, injuring a passenger. Police say his blood alcohol level tested at more than three times the legal limit. He'll be sentenced next month, and the case highlights ongoing safety concerns at one of the city's busiest intersections.
   

3. City of Rochester holds grand opening for $43 million maintenance center (kaaltv.com) — Rochester has opened a new $43 million maintenance center that brings parks, forestry, street maintenance, and materials testing together in one large facility to improve city services. Staff say the expanded space and shared equipment will speed snow removal, park care, and infrastructure work for residents. A public snow summit at the site later this month will help neighbors prepare for winter.
   

4. Timpane's first goal, Doyle's hat trick lift Rochester Grizzlies (postbulletin.com) — Rochester hockey fans can celebrate a big night for the Grizzlies, as former Rochester Century/John Marshall standout Bennett Timpane scored his first junior goal and Liam Doyle recorded a hat trick in a 5–2 win over the St. Louis Jr. Blues. Rochester outshot St. Louis heavily, stayed unbeaten in regulation, and remains near the top of the NA3HL Central Division standings.
