Premier Bank Minnesota Announces Closure and Consolidation of Rochester Branch (krocnews.com) — Premier Bank Minnesota is closing its North Broadway and 37th Street branch in Rochester on December 31, 2026, consolidating services into the newer Highway 52 and 37th Street location. The bank says all accounts and services will continue unchanged, and its downtown and Greenview branches in Rochester will remain open to serve local customers.
   

2. Mayo Clinic Unveils Name for New Downtown Rochester Entrance (krocnews.com) — Rochester patients and visitors will soon use Mayo Clinic's new Penske Arrival Building as the main gateway to the downtown campus, with valet and drop-off service starting October 8. The 15,000-square-foot entrance, funded by the Penske Foundation, is designed to simplify transportation, parking, and wayfinding so families can focus more on care and less on logistics.
   

3. Residents raise concerns over planned development in Hadley Valley (kttc.com) — A large new Hadley Valley subdivision just north of Rochester is moving toward final city approval, raising big questions about traffic, emergency access, and annexation from Haverhill Township into the city. Neighbors worry a single 55‑mph road and delayed second access to 48th Street NE could slow emergency response and strain rural-style infrastructure, while Rochester officials say traffic and connectivity standards are being met despite exceptions.
   

4. Photos: Post Bulletin 'Best of the Best' event on Sept. 30, 2026 (postbulletin.com) — Rochester's Mayowood Stone Barn hosted the Post Bulletin's annual "Best of the Best" celebration on Wednesday night, honoring local favorites chosen by readers. 5. Athlete of the Week: Max Elliott, Century Panthers Football (kttc.com) — Century High School senior Max Elliott, a three-sport standout in Rochester, is being recognized after a breakout football season following multiple injuries. He recently piled up more than 260 all-purpose yards and five touchdowns against rival John Marshall, earning KTTC's Athlete of the Week honors and energizing the local football community.
