3 sport bras ????

I met a new friend ( Diane) at running class on Saturday and she mentioned the part in the article about my 3 bras . I feel this is an important issue for curvy women and overweight women. A beginning runner has a lot of things to think about and I spent many workouts being uncomfortable, worrying about the jiggle and yanking my shirt/shorts down. Running is not a comfortable thing to do if you are carrying extra baggage ( 50 lbs more for me) It is impossible to get comfortable if things are not kept firmly in place. I think 2 sports bras are crucial, if not three. The first layer needs to be a couple sizes too small, really squishing the girls in tightly. The second layer should have a fuller front to hold in any stray flesh. As for the bottoms, I think compression shorts/capris are the best way to begin. Regular black yogas, tights and sweats don’t really hold things in tight enough. The cute running shorts still don’t work for me. You really don’t want to spend the entire workout pulling at your shorts, or in my case , keeping my running skort from riding up my rear. Try to get a running outfit that feels good, something you don’t have to think about while running.
