An Introduction to the Macintosh Operating System

Thinking about buying a MacBook or an iMac?  Already own one but don't know how to use it?  Or maybe you just want to know how to use the computers at CTV?  This class will familiarize you with the Macintosh operating system (used at CTV) and ways in which it is different from a Windows computer.  You'll learn how to use the dock, to find files and applications, and some useful shortcuts.  In the last 30 minutes you will have the option of taking a free assessment to earn a Northstar Digital Literacy certificate in the World Wide Web.

*Students must have basic typing and mouse skills.  This class will be taught on Mac OS
