Influence is leadership and the world is impacted through good leaders. Every year I look to devote a portion of time and money to getting better at leading.

Many of us have influence as parents, friends, employers, managers, coaches, mentors etc etc etc -- but the question is are we devoting anything to getting better at those roles? And if we could, even a little, what difference could it make in what we do?

Every year I consume a number of books on leadership as well as conferences, seminars, and recordings that might be helpful. For the last 4 years or so I've been attending a world-wide simulcast along with 100,000 others from 14 countries and I found it to be some of the best in leadership/influence teaching from top business folks, sports coaches, authors and even pastors.

I've been hoping one day we could bring it to Roseville so we could all benefit from it. This is that year!
