On Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012; the Roseville Visitors Association will be attempting to set a Guinness World Record for the largest number of people playing Angry Birds on a mobile phone.
The attempt will take place at noon at the Guidant John Rose Minnesota Oval in Roseville, Minnesota. Our goal is to attract 3,000 people to help break the record!
In conjunction with the Guinness World Record attempt, Minnesota
Computers for Schools has offered to donate a complete computer lab for one lucky school, K-12, in Minnesota or any nonprofit organization with an educational base, teachers, and special kids.

Want to enter or know anyone who should? Here’s How:
*A teacher would submit an essay
(no more than 1,500 words) on school letterhead, signed by a principal, telling
us why your school needs and deserves a computer lab.

*Essay must be received by the Roseville Visitors Association no later than 5 p.m. on the close of business on Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2012.
*A committee will review the letters/essays and determine the top 5 which will then be posted on www.visitroseville.com by August 30, 2012.
FINAL voting will take place up till 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at the Minnesota Computers for School tented area. The school with the highest number of votes wins.
The winner will be announced after the Guinness Book World Record Angry Bird Attempt on Saturday, September 15, 2012 by Minnesota Computer for Schools, Executive Director Tamara Gillard.
