Save those old or unwanted electronics
until September 7th. Two Roseville senior high school Girl
Scout troops will host a "tech dump" recycling event at Prince
of Peace Lutheran Church, 2561 Victoria St. North in Roseville on
September 7th from 9am -1 pm. All you have to do is bring any unwanted
electronic item, computer, TV, cell phone, batteries, video equipment, or small
appliances that have a cord, to the parking lot and the
scouts with the help of a recycling company will do the rest. We
will take anything with electrical cords as well as batteries, ink, toner
cartridges, and electrical wiring. Disposal is free except for
a $10 fee for a CRT television, CRT computer monitor,
or appliances with Freon. Everything you bring in gets responsibly
recycled! All computer equipment also has the hard drives erased so data
is secure. Please help out the scouts and your community by
responsibly discarding unwanted electronics.
