CTV North Suburbs and the Ramsey County Library invite girls ages 11-14 to a media-making experience over spring break at the Roseville Public Library.
Participants will learn about gender stereotyping in the media, video production, and how to tell their own stories. The program begins with a public screening of the documentary Miss Representation, and parents are encouraged to attend the screening with their daughters. A three-day media-making workshop follows, and all participants will earn certification on CTV's field equipment. The camp culminates in a final screening of the media projects produced by Young Lenses participants.
This camp is free and no experience is necessary. It's a great opportunity for any girls who are interested in writing, acting, film, or television production. Find more details below:
