Roseville Parks and Recreation is pleased to invite you, your family and friends to the Mosquito Bluegrass Jam on Sunday, August 4 from 2-8 p.m. The event is part of the Performances in the Park - Live at the Rog summer music series presented by Genisys Credit Union. It all happens at Roseville's Central Park on Lexington Avenue, just south of County Road C and begins with a free and open Public Music Jam, including a Beginner's Jam led by Roseville ’s own Bill Cagley, from 2-3:45 pm. Then at 4 pm the group, Sasquatch Wristwatch, performs followed at 5:30 and 7:00 pm by the Platte Valley Boys. The evening will end with an improvised jam session involving musicians from all the bands.
Along with the excellent musical program, you can also enjoy fun mosquito activities with the Harriet Alexander Nature Center and purchase refreshments from the Cajun 2 Geaux food truck.
