• Man accused of abducting, assaulting, terrorizing dental employee (drbicuspid.com) — A Roseville dental employee was allegedly abducted at gunpoint outside i-Implant Dentistry, then bound, terrorized, and sexually assaulted over several hours before being released near a golf course. Prosecutors have charged 41-year-old Pao Yang with multiple counts including first-degree criminal sexual conduct, kidnapping, aggravated robbery, and assault. Authorities say he worked as the office cleaner; he remains jailed on $2.5 million bail.
   

• Police chase spanning 18 miles ends in Blaine after pickup crashes into ditch (newsbreak.com) — Residents in Roseville were briefly in the path of an 18-mile overnight police chase that began in Fridley and wound through several cities before ending in Blaine when a pickup crashed into a ditch. Deputies say the driver, from Andover, had a felony warrant and now faces additional charges including fleeing, DWI, and assault with a dangerous weapon. State Patrol and Ramsey County coordinated the pursuit along I-694 and nearby roads.
   

• Major Snelling Avenue Closure Begins Friday Night Between Arden Hills and Roseville (town.news) — Expect major detours this weekend if you use Snelling Avenue or Highway 51 between Arden Hills and Roseville, as southbound lanes close from I-694 to Highway 36 for resurfacing. The shutdown runs 9 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday, with some ramp and cross-street closures, but neighborhood access near the corridor will be maintained with flaggers.
