• Four Denny's franchises in Minnesota close, but chain talks comeback (sctimes.com) — Residents in Roseville just lost their local Denny's on Twin Lakes Parkway, one of four Minnesota franchises that abruptly closed as the owner plans bankruptcy. The chain's new private owners say they're remodeling hundreds of locations, rolling out a revamped menu, expanding catering, and even exploring ways to reopen some recently shuttered restaurants, including those in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
