Roseville School Board Briefing: Cutting Down on Meetings
The board voted to only meet twice a month.

The Roseville Area School Board voted unanimously Tuesday to eliminate its monthly discussion sessions and meet twice per month in televised sessions.
The first meeting of a month will emphasize action items, while the second will focus on discussion.

- A report was presented to the board on the first year of the district’s K-6 literacy program. The district saw its second highest ever proficiency scores on the MCA-II reading test.
- The 2012-13 calendar was approved by the board.
- The board was educated about the effects of the Department of Education waiver on the No Child Left Behind Act.
