• These New Minnesota Laws Were Just Signed By Gov. Walz (patch.com) — St. Paul residents should know that Gov. Tim Walz just signed five statewide bills that reshape government oversight, veterans benefits, and key human services administered from the capital. The new laws create an Office of Inspector General, expand home care coverage, authorize banks to offer virtual-currency custody, and honor a fallen service member with a memorial highway in nearby White Bear Lake.
