DFL Demands Apology From GOP Over 'Anti-Semitic' Video
The video "amounts to an accusation that a cabal of Jewish elites are manipulating our elections," DFL Chairman Ken Martin said.

SAINT PAUL, MN — The Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party is demanding an apology from Republican Secretary of State candidate Kim Crockett "for playing an incredibly anti-Semitic video."
The video was played before Crockett took the stage at the 2022 Minnesota GOP state convention, where Crockett won the Republican endorsement. It showed billionaire businessman George Soros as a puppet master, controlling Secretary of State Steve Simon and Marc Elias. Soros, Simon, and Elias are all Jewish, the DFL notes.
"Kim Crockett’s appalling video amounts to an accusation that a cabal of Jewish elites are manipulating our elections," DFL Chairman Ken Martin said in a statement.

"The anti-Semitic stereotypes Kim Crockett is using to fuel her campaign are centuries old, tremendously offensive, and have caused incredible harm to the Jewish community across the nation. Crockett owes Minnesota’s Jewish community an explanation and an apology for trafficking in bigotry. This is far from the first time Crockett has been caught peddling bigotry and pushing conspiracy theories, and the people of Minnesota deserve so much better from our Secretary of State."
Crockett has not yet responded to the statements from the DFL.
