Final MN Flag Design Expected To Be Chosen Friday: Watch Live Stream

ST. PAUL, MN — With just 17 days left before it needs to formally adopt a new design, the Minnesota State Emblems Redesign Commission is expected to select one of the three remaining finalists for a new state flag.
The commission Tuesday narrowed down the list of state flag designs to three, one of which will be the basis for the new flag. Modifications can be made to the selected design before it is adopted and sent to the state legislature.
Under state law, the commission must develop and adopt a new design for the official state flag and the official state seal no later than Jan. 1, 2024.

The commission meets Friday at 1 p.m. The public can watch a live stream of the meeting over Zoom here.
