March For Science Minnesota: Thousands Expected Saturday

The Minnesota March for Science begins this Saturday at Cathedral Hill Park​ in Saint Paul.

TWIN CITIES, MN — The March for Science Minnesota will take place this Saturday, Earth Day, in Saint Paul. More than some 9,000 people have indicated they plan to participate, according to the event's Facebook page. The march will begin at Cathedral Hill Park in Saint Paul at 11 a.m. The Rally at the Minnesota State Capitol will begin at 12 p.m.

Marchers are encouraged to wear blue and green. According to the event's Facebook page, the march will draw "a coalition of Minnesotans from all professions and all walks of life, various non-profits, labor unions, and religious groups are marching on the state capitol to show support of higher education and the discovery, access, and understanding of scientific information."
