Saint Paul Public Schools (SPPS) has updated the School Board facilities projects slated to begin in 2020, including building additions, remodeling and updating. The projects are part of the District’s Facilities Master Plan (FMP) which is being revamped to include better early-cost estimates that include funding to cover unexpected expenses and enhanced Board of Education oversight.

SPPS spends about $112 million every year on construction, which keeps the annual property tax increase on the average Saint Paul home to $30. That’s a commitment the District made to taxpayers in 2016 and has abided by throughout the implementation of the FMP.
