• Scott County lime producer fined more than $15,000 for equipment testing and air permit violations (state.mn.us) — A lime production facility based in Savage has been fined $15,755 by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency for air permit violations and falsified emissions records. State regulators say the company failed to complete required testing and keep accurate daily checks, and have now required a corrective plan and permit changes to better protect nearby communities and the environment.
