Sue started taking art classes over thirty years ago, first at Normandale Community College then at the University of Minnesota, followed by studying with other artists such as Skip Lawrence, Malcom Meyers, Cheng-Khee Chee, Frank Webb, Judy Betts, Andy Evenson, and Tony Van Hasslet. Seldom does a day go by that Sue doesn’t work on something in her art studio. During the summer months she often paints with local artists. Paintings by Sue Melchior exhibit runs through April 27, 2013.
Save the date: Sue will demonstrate and teach the basics of watercolor painting April 11, from 7-8pm. For details call 952-445-0378 or info@scottcountyhistory.org.
