• Shakopee Couple Sentenced to Combined 97 Months for Obtaining $8.8 Million in Feeding Our Future Fraud (town.news) — A Shakopee couple has been sentenced to a combined 97 months in federal prison for fraudulently obtaining about $8.8 million from child-nutrition programs during the pandemic. Prosecutors say they submitted false meal claims through the Feeding Our Future network, part of a much larger $250 million fraud scheme that has led to numerous federal cases across Minnesota.
