Prosecutors describe the case as a "rejection killing," detailing messages, surveillance footage, and forensic evidence that tied him to the crime. Sentencing is scheduled for October 15. 
• Girls cross-country: Kraemer sets pace for Stillwater at Chaska Lions Invitational (hometownsource.com) — Shakopee's girls cross-country team finished 11th in a deep 13-team field at the Victoria Lions Invitational, racing against many of the state's top programs.
