• MSR 92 Years Black Press Legacy (spokesman-recorder.com) — For decades, the Minnesota Spokesman-Recorder rushed finished pages to a printer in Shakopee, tying the city into the 92-year legacy of Minnesota's oldest continuously published Black-owned newspaper. Veteran editors Jerry Freeman and Charles Hallman reflect on late-night production runs, the evolution of Black journalism, and why a strong Black Press still matters in documenting community life and civil rights struggles.
