Friendship Church is presenting the musical, which is about a family singing group. The family ends up working through relationships while spending Christmas away from their New York home.

Peter Pan's Christmas Adventure
Peter Pan and a cast of characters, including Wendy, Captain Hook, and the Lost Kids are on a search for treasure in this musical play. The Lost Kids—Bible characters—and the Peter Pan crew discover the true meaning of Christmas. Musicals with a Mission will present the play at St. John's Lutheran Church.
Show dates: Dec. 7 at 2 p.m., Dec. 8 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., Dec. 9 at 2 p.m.
Admission: Free, free will offering taken to benefit Good to Go Kids
The Hobbit
River Valley Theatre Company has partnered with Shakopee Community Education to present. J. R. R. Tolkien's The Hobbit, it's first youth studio performance. The play will show at Shakopee West Junior High school.
Show dates: Dec. 14 at 7 p.m., Dec. 15 at 2 p.m.
Admission: $5, at the door with cash or check
