• South St. Paul murder: Man gets life in prison for shooting 72-year-old roommate (fox9.com) — A South St. Paul man has been sentenced to life in prison without parole for fatally shooting his 72-year-old roommate inside their shared apartment on 12th Avenue North. The Dakota County case details how police found the victim on a couch with a gunshot wound to the face and multiple firearms nearby, and how the shooter later admitted using the victim's own rifle and calling 911.
