Minnesota Gophers In Quick Lane Bowl: Tickets, Kickoff Time, TV
The Gophers defeated Central Michigan, 21-14, in the 2015 Quick Lane Bowl.

MINNEAPOLIS — The University of Minnesota has accepted an invitation to play in the 2018 Quick Lane Bowl on Dec. 26 at Ford Field in Detroit. This will be Minnesota's second appearance in the Quick Lane Bowl. The Gophers have been to 20 bowl games all-time.
The Gophers defeated Central Michigan, 21-14, in the 2015 Quick Lane Bowl under head coach Tracy Claeys.
Minnesota (6-6, 3-6 in the Big Ten) will play Georgia Tech, which finished 7-5 overall and 5-3 in the ACC. This is the first-ever meeting between the two teams.

Minnesota became bowl eligible after defeating Wisconsin, 37-15, and reclaiming Paul Bunyan's Axe.

- Odds/Spread: The Gophers opened as a 4.5 underdog to Georgia Tech, according to Vegas Insider. The over/under was set at 61.5.
