4 More Die From Coronavirus In Minnesota; 789 Cases Confirmed

MINNESOTA — The number of confirmed deaths related to the new coronavirus is up to 22 in Minnesota, state health officials announced Friday. That number is up four since Thursday.

A total of 789 people have so far tested positive for COVID-19. Of those, 410 people no longer need to be isolated.

Total approximate number of completed tests: 24,227

• Total approximate number of completed tests from the MDH Public Health Lab: 8,682
• Total approximate number of completed tests from external laboratories: 15,545

Total cases requiring hospitalization: 156

• Hospitalized as of Friday: 86
• Hospitalized in ICU as of Friday: 40
