All Tickets for Vikings 2016 Season Are Now Sold Out

The Minnesota Vikings announced Thursday that all 2016 home games at U.S. Bank Stadium are now sold out.

The Minnesota Vikings announced Thursday that all 2016 home games are now sold out.

Of the stadium’s final 2016 capacity of 66,655, more than 60,400 seats are committed for the entire season with the remaining single-game seats also sold out, according to a news release.

As a result of the sellout, the Vikings have launched a ticket and suite waitlist.

"This is a testament to the passion of our fans and tremendous support of the Vikings," Vikings owner Mark Wilf said in a statement.

"The excitement for this team combined with the overwhelming response to U.S. Bank Stadium is incredible. We cannot wait to create the best home field advantage in the NFL."

The Vikings will play their first home game in the new U.S. Bank Stadium for its preseason matchup against the San Diego Chargers Sunday, Aug. 28.
