American Brain Tumor Association Hosts Education Day Featuring Top Minneapolis Brain Tumor Experts
The Minneapolis community is invited to this free, educational event for patients, families and caregivers impacted by a brain tumor.
Partners in Treatment and Care: Patients and Caregiver Meeting is the American Brain Tumor Association’s (ABTA) upcoming day of education for brain tumor patients, caregivers and families impacted by this devastating disease.
Leading Minneapolis brain tumor experts will present the most up-to-date brain tumor treatment strategies and offer guidance and tips on managing symptoms and treatment side effects.

Patients, families and their caregivers are invited to participate in this exceptional education day—free of charge— where they will have the opportunity to get their questions answered and network with each other. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided to all registered attendees.

WHY: In a poll conducted by the ABTA, 40 percent of brain tumor patients and caregivers stated they did not have sufficient information about their diagnosis to make informed decisions. Education is critical for empowering the nearly 700,000 people in the U.S. living with a brain tumor and the 500 who are diagnosed each day.
